An Exploration of Recreational and Commercial Fishing in Our Region
Students immerse themselves in the cultural, nutritional, economic and social aspects of angling(fishing) in our region. To gain a better understanding of the impact fishing has had on our culture, students will research the historical and present day connections it has to the community. Students will be working hands-on with various tackle and techniques as well as learning about how environmental forces effect fishing. Students strengthen their observational skills with drawings and written journal entries as well.
